Hi, Iām Kelsey (she/her/hers)
Before pursuing garden design, I worked for over ten years as a social science researcher for a large nonprofit working with foundations, community organizations, and government entities. Even though my work now centers on gardens, I still see supporting healthy communities and exploring the interconnection of place and people as central to what I do.
In 2022 I completed the Master Gardener program through the University of Minnesota Extension and began designing gardens for friends and neighbors. I continue to pursue formal and informal education in sustainable gardening practices, Minnesota native plants, accessible and universal design, climate justice, and health equity. I consider myself a researcher and I use that lens when planning and designing gardens.
